NYFW - Heritage Show
A bespoke fashion brochure made for a NYFW event led by Prashant Goyal, founder of Heritage India Fashions. I designed a brochure that provided consistency across 20+ brands, designers, entertainers, and sponsors. It was distributed to over 400 people and resulted in many designers and brands post-show reaching out for a copy themselves.
Completed February 8, 2023
Indian Food
An exploration of Indian food through the lens of an artist. Here I will showcase Indian dishes that were integral to my upbringing. This will be a focus on providing representation to other regions within India, not just the "Butter Chicken & Naan" trope the West tends to focus on.
"A World of Couture and Dollar Slices" Zine
A zine that explored the irony of dollar slices and haute couture coexisting in harmony together. This zine is fully designed by me, and will have snippets of interesting takes from New Yorkers. It is meant to be a lifestyle, art, and fashion magazine that takes a closer look at the dichotomy of the idealized New York City.
Past Projects
Ready to Fight
A professional Muay Thai fighter, named Thai-Ngan Le, who wanted her mixed identity captured on a t-shift to fundraise her next pro fight in Thailand. Her Vietnamese heritage is symbolized through the yellow flowers, her home in California through the golden poppies.
Melancholy
A tattoo design of a girl's love of two interests: music and flowers. She plays instruments and has a deep appreciation for flowers.
Not pictured: a follow up tattoo design that included her dog's paw and her hand intertwined.
A New Beginning
To symbolize a new beginning of a couple moving in together and taking on the big apple. Both of their hometowns reflected in the mirrors and their culture reflected in the rickshaw - an Indian cab.
